Majority Member nurse for Mother Advisors son after he received a Kidney Transplant

August 25th was a memorable day for the Jones family. Alex, a 21 year old college student received a long awaited gift of a kidney transplant from a living donor. Alex is the son of Lori Phillips-Jones, Majority Member and Mother Advisor of Dinsmore #49 and brother to Claire Jones Grand Recorder in Tennessee. Up until a year ago, Alex was a healthy young man not knowing anything was wrong. After a brief illness, it was discovered that he had a genetic disorder and would need a kidney transplant. That day came on August 25th when he underwent his surgery at Vanderbilt Hospital in Nashville, TN. Following surgery, he was put in a room and low and behold the Jones family was surpised to see who Alex's nurse was for the evening. His nurse turned out to be PGWA Julianna Justice. Alex's sister Claire served as one of Julianna's Grand Officers and they both originated from the Knoxville Area. 

Alex is currently doing well post op and Tennessee Rainbow is proud of Julianna for all of her work as a nurse!
